David (1) David Monty Co-Founder and CEO

David is Co-Founder and CEO of leading FinTech, Tuxedo Money Solutions, and previously served as CTO. He began his career at Alpha Telecom, managing their call centres then broadening his remit to manage client application development and account services. As Head of Operations for Speechnet and Amerada, he oversaw all utility telecom services and IVR technology. In 2002 he founded Re-Inspire, delivering innovative payment solutions and was one of the first entrants in the SMS payment and ‘micropayment’ markets. David co-founded Tuxedo in 2006 and has overseen its technology development, innovation and international expansion.

Tony (1) Tony Poole Chief Technology Officer

Tony has been with Tuxedo since its inception, working alongside David, and has over 20 years of experience in payment technology, within both private and public sectors – including local government and NHS. Tony has been instrumental in design and development of Tuxedo’s platform and has covered many complex scenarios with his simple and streamlined approach. Tony continues to lead the development team to support and further develop Tuxedo’s software and products

Rob (1) Robert Darby Head of Prepaid Cards

Rob is a qualified member of the Chartered Management Institute with extensive experience working in both the travel and financial services sector.

Rob has worked for a broad range of key players in the payments and travel market, including MasterCard, Travelex, Airtours / MyTravel Group, and has launched partner programmes for the likes of Going Places, Thomas Cook, Avios, British Airways and Israeli Post Office. Since joining Tuxedo Rob has launched the STA Travel Prepaid Cards Programmes in Australia and the U.S, ISIC Prepaid Programmes in a number of countries as well as our own off the shelf travel product, the Escape Travel Card. 

Chris (1) Chris Duckett Operations Director

Chris has over 20 years’ experience within the Financial Services Industry including 10 years specifically in prepaid. During his career he has covered both operational, project management and commercial roles at Tuxedo, Santander and Alliance & Leicester, as well as a broad range of roles within Bank of America covering, credit strategy, collections and underwriting for consumer / business credit card and loan products.

His responsibilities at Tuxedo cover a wide remit including Customer Services, Help Desk, Supplier Management, Fraud and Compliance. 

Jakub (1) Jakub Molski SVP Investments & Strategic Development

Jakub is an experienced FinTech entrepreneur and restructuring specialist. Prior to joining Tuxedo he spent his career in investment banking and asset management. Most recently he was responsible for investments in Poland and Germany for Hoist Kredit, a leading European NPL fund. Prior to this he worked in Corporate Restructuring at RBS. 

Nick (1) Nick Holt Technical Solutions Director

Throughout his 15 years’ experience in the payments industry, Nick has been at the forefront of innovation. He was responsible for the launch of MBNA’s first mobile banking application in the UK and led Visa’s mobile payments project with the UK’s largest mobile network operator and the UK’s largest bank. Nick has worked with banks and technology partners across Europe. At Tuxedo Nick is responsible for licensing our technology platforms to clients across Europe and also for designing, building and delivering Tuxedo’s Alternative Banking Solution. 

Helen Everatt Helen Everatt HR Consultant

Helen started her career in Human Resources over 15 years ago and has worked in a variety of industries but predominantly in Financial Services. A fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, Helen joined Tuxedo 4 years ago to establish a HR function and to support and advise senior managers.
