John Sharman John Sharman Chief Executive Officer

Responsible for the day to day running of the business, John joined Tuxedo from Alliance and Leicester where he was Commercial Director of its Prepaid Cards business. John previously spent five years at MBNA / Bank of America holding a number of senior positions in the Credit Card and Consumer Finance businesses, including 18 months managing Virgin Money’s Credit Card and Loan programmes. John’s background is in Retail having performed a number of management roles in Direct Marketing and Business Development for the likes of DSG. 

Stuart Wakefield Stuart Wakefield Chief Operating Officer

Stuart joined Tuxedo in 2009, having worked with financial services businesses for nearly 20 years.  He held senior management roles at RBS group, Alliance and Leicester Commercial Bank and Bank of America.  During his time at Tuxedo, Stuart has played a key role in all facets of the business, helping to guide strategy, build successful partnerships and launch new innovative payment solutions.  Stuart has oversight of all business operations and is responsible for our international expansion activities. 

Darren Veevers Darren Veevers Chief Financial Officer

Responsible for Finance, Compliance and Risk, Darren joined Tuxedo in March 2011. He was previously Group Finance Director for The Bankhall Group of Companies where, as an Executive Board Member, specific responsibilities included strategy, value creation, business planning and governance. Bankhall, are one of the largest, most dynamic and respected service providers to Independent Financial Advisers and Mortgage Brokers in the UK. Darren brings with him to Tuxedo a wealth of experience from his ten years in Financial Services and nine years in Accounting Practice.

David Monty David Monty Chief Technology Officer

David began his career at Alpha Telecom in 1997 managing their call centre then broadening his remit to manage client application development and account services. As Operations Manager for Speechnet he oversaw all utility telecom services and IVR technology.

In 2002 he founded Re-Inspire, delivering innovative payment solutions and was one of the first entrants in the SMS payment and ‘micropayment’ markets.

Frank Creighton Frank Creighton Head of Partnerships - Corporate

Frank is responsible for the overall commercial management and performance of sector partnerships, and is also the lead relationship manager. He joined Tuxedo in March 2014, bringing over 15 years’ experience in partnership management roles. Previously, Frank successfully led partnership teams at financial services, professional services, and business services organisations. Frank’s background includes working at Barclays Bank and Nationwide Building Society, along with smaller entrepreneurial organisations. 

Rob Darby Robert Darby Sector Head of Relationship Management - Travel

 Rob moved to the financial services sector in 2003 after 12 years in the Travel Industry. Since then has focused on foreign exchange and prepaid travel programmes with a wide range of partners including airlines, travel retailers, banks and state owned Post offices across Europe. Within the airline sector Rob managed the business requirements gathering, contract negotiation, project implementation and on-going relationship management of the British Airways and Avios prepaid card programmes whilst working at MasterCard for Access Prepaid Worldwide. Rob joined Tuxedo in June 2014 from Access Prepaid Worldwide and manages our global travel relationships with a team of dedicated and experienced relationship managers.

Sallie Sallie Henry Regional Director, Middle East

With over 10 years’ experience in the payment kiosk industry, Sallie joins Tuxedo as the Regional Director in the Middle-East based in our Dubai office, having worked in the region since 2011 driving new payment initiatives.

Since graduating from University of Leeds Sallie’s career has been firmly entrenched in the payment services industry.  Sallie is focused on driving the delivery of Tuxedo products, solutions and service in the Middle East.
